So many good finds this September. I had a huge list of things I wanted to talk about, but I limited myself to my absolute favorites to save you some time (you’re welcome!).
I am always on the lookout for affordable and efficient monthly subscriptions, whether it’s makeup, clothing, books, candy… you name it, I’ve tried it. in the past I have talked about Julep, an online retail system for makeup. I love Julep, but it can be quite costly for a monthly subscription, so these past few months I searched for something different. An old college friend — I know, I sound like a 80-year-old — introduced me to Ipsy a couple of weeks ago. At first I was very skeptical about this subscription. $10 seems very cheap for 5 name brand makeup products. With nothing to lose I decided to try it. Best decision ever! Each month I have received 5 great products and a cute makeup bag. All you have to do is take the beauty quiz, get your first Glam Bag, and have fun.
September should be renamed Serendipity. As many of my other favorites this month, I came across this power duo by chance. I received the Lord&Berry crayon earlier this week as part of my Ipsy Glam Bag and fell in love with the soft, subtle pink hue of this crayon. It’s absolutely stunning. A few days after I found the L.A. Colors matte lipstick while grocery shopping and I had to have it. At first I didn’t even think about pairing the two products together, but when I did, tears of joy marked my face. What makes it even better is that L.A.Colors matte lipstick is so soft and buttery and lasts forever. You just have to try it!
Yes, this is another Ipsy find. I am telling you, this subscription is the bomb! I absolutely loved this hair mask. My hair has never felt so soft and luscious. Plus this stuff smells so good. Of course the one I got in my Glam Bag was just a sample (about 3 applications), but no need to worry, I bought a big bottle of product here and it’s on its way home.
I love to travel, but having a 9-5 job does not allow much time for travelling. For this family, travelling is their life. I mean literally. About a year ago, Garrett and Jessica Gee sold everything they owned and decided to travel the world with their two beautiful children. So far they have been to Asia, Europe, South America, and even my adored island of Bali. They are truly inspiring and so adorable. I mean, just look at them! They have channel on youtube where they post vlog updates once a week and it is awesome. Check them out here.
We love you, Greece! 💙🇬🇷💙 So much variety in 1 country and we didn’t even see half of it! Lots of social memories here. We’re sad to be leaving. We’ll be back someday soon! 💙☺️💙 Next stop London, England!! /// #family #bucketlist #explore #wanderlust #travel #vlog /// @beautifuldestinations @theglobewanderer @travelandleisure @garrettgee @settie4444 @dorothyseven @manillagee

This book written by H. G. Sansostri is a fun, quick read for you, or your young teen. If you like witty fiction with a spark of fantasy, this book is for you. Fun fact, the author of this book is only fourteen years old, and this is his second published book. I wish I was that creative at his age.
Exciting news, this past week I built up some courage and finally opened an Etsy shop. At the beginning of the summer I started weaving wall hangings as a way to relax and deal with stress. This past season my anxiety has been at a all-time high and weaving cute tapestries has really helped a lot. Making wall hanging has become a ritual for me. When I feel stressed or overwhelmed I pick up my loom and start weaving. Shortly it became a way to take care of myself, be creative, and mostly love myself, hence the name Amami. “Amare” is the Italian verb “to love”; “Amami” means “love me”. Since for me weaving is an act of self-love, I hope my wall hangings (aka my babies) will bring joy, hope, and love to others. So if you are looking for a handcrafted piece to decorate your home, consider adopting one of my babies. Just click here to go to my shop.
That’s it folks. I hope you had a great September!
