And just like that 2016 is gone. I am not going to lie, this past year was a very challenging year for me. Old scars and wounds thought to be healed reappeared out of nowhere and left me breathless numerous times. These truly have been a frantic twelve months. Yet, I am glad it went the way it did.
Although 2016 was a crazy year, I found strength in the mist of it all. As the year came to a close, I can’t help but be grateful for the struggles, hiccups, and curve-balls I had to face this year; because now I know how strong I am.
Apart from the physical, mental, and emotional distress (I am continuously learning to take care of myself), this year marked so many milestones for our little family! One year of marriage, one year of blogging, new jobs, new offices, new home, new hobbies, and new dreams. As if that was not enough, I already know 2017 is going to be a year filled with new adventures and projects that I cannot wait to share with you all (get excited!)
New Year is time for resolutions. This year, my resolutions are a little different. I am one of those people who usually writes a 100 item list and only accomplishes 2 or 3 goals. Get fit, drink more water, save money, read more etc. Don’t get me wrong these are all great resolutions, yet it’s not what I need. This year, I decided to focus on what is really important for my well-being. Setting realistic and healthy goals I know I need to accomplish. So there you have it!
